His Mercies are New Each Morning

The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is His faithfulness; His mercies are afresh each morning. ~Lamentations 3:22-23

    We all have bad days. Just admit it, we've all had one of those days when we're in a bad mood and can't seem to get out of it. Maybe it's been one of those days where you need to get something done but at the end of the day, you still haven't done it. 

  I have these days too.  For example, last week I had "one of those days." It was a rainy, gloomy day and I didn't want to do anything.  First of all, I started my day off wrong. I woke up really late, and seeing that I thought I had a lot to accomplish, I thought it would be okay to skip my Quiet Time. BAD IDEA (NEVER do that)!!! So there was my first mistake of the day. Then, as the day progressed, I decided to put my Algebra homework off until the next day (again, bad idea). Basically, I just wanted to be lazy. I hadn't had a lazy day in quite awhile and I though it was okay. At the end of the day, I realized that I had spent my whole day on Facebook and watching a movie that was totally not worth watching. I was so upset that I had completely wasted my day. 

   It was because of the grace of God that I was able to wake up and start a new day. I was so thankful that he allowed me to start over. 

So if you have had one of these days, don't feel bad because we all have. But guess what....

TODAY IS A NEW DAY!!!! 

 

His mercies are new each morning! Because of His faithful love, we are able to wake up and start a new day!

So, my friends, I encourage you to live your life to the fullest today. Have your quiet time with our Daddy God and thank Him for His mercies and His faithful love that never ends.
