As I take a walk in the woods today, I am searching. Searching. A busy and somewhat overwhelming day it has been. I take a walk in the woods to refresh and search for joy. With my camera in hand, I walk slowly. I need joy. I know it is available, but where is it?
I found it.
I laugh. Joy is available, I just chose not to seek it. " In His Presence is fullness of joy. . .The well (of joy) is always here. God is always here. . . . The secret to joy is to keep seeking God where we doubt He is." (Ann Voscamp, One Thousand Gifts)
I chose to go to The Well. I chose to seek God. The result: joy.
Choose joy. Choose to find joy, to seek God. Do whatever it takes. No matter where I am or what I am going through, joy is available. Choose to find it.
